What they need
- As a Software Engineer on the Roblox Studio team, you’ll help build and shape the tools Roblox teams use to build the Roblox app, and that creators use to build their experiences. Our mission is to unify internal and external tooling into a single, best-in-class toolset that benefits everyone
- Work on various internal and external tools for Roblox game developers
- Define architecture and implement reusable tooling frameworks
- Design and execute on the architecture and technical direction that will be the future of our application
- Own and deliver complex technical projects from the planning stage through execution
- Work cross functionally, across teams and technology platforms
- Participate in building the world’s best professional application for massively multiplayer game development- Education: A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent professional experience) in Computer Science or a related engineering field
- Coding Proficiency: Strong programming skills in at least one modern language (e.g., C++, C#, Lua)
- 2+ years of experience in software engineering, with a track record of delivering high-quality production code
- Problem-Solving Skills: A solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms, with an aptitude for debugging complex issues
