About Us
Sela is a global cloud partner, dedicated to guiding our clients in their cloud journey. With deep partnerships across AWS, GCP, and Azure, and a growing practice at the intersection of cloud and AI,
we help enterprises modernize infrastructure, migrate workloads, and build intelligent, resilient systems. Our team has over three decades of experience delivering excellence and thought leadership to clients. We take pride in our strong engineering culture, our drive for excellence, and our supportive team.
What We Are Looking For
We're looking for an exceptional Software Engineer (Data and AI) to design, build, and ship agentic systems for our clients. This is a hands-on engineering role. You'll work in a mix of Python, TypeScript, and .NET, own features end to end, and make sure what you build stays reliable and maintainable once it's in a client's hands.
The tooling in this space is changing quickly and the standards are still settling. We'd like someone who keeps up with it and can tell the difference between what's ready for client work and what isn't.
If you take ownership of your work, are a great communicator, and thrive in environments with changing requirements, this job is probably right up your alley. Our team includes network architects, cloud architects, software developers, and security engineers. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experts with significant real-world experience and to work on high-impact projects. We also provide many opportunities for growth and will cover the cost of relevant education and certification.
If you have less experience but have a publicly available portfolio of work / GitHub that you are proud of, feel free to apply and include a link to your portfolio / GitHub in your application.
Desired Skills
- Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals
- Strong proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or .NET, and willingness to work across all three
- Hands-on experience building LLM-powered applications that have shipped to real users
- Familiarity with agentic interoperability standards such as A2A (Agent2Agent), AG-UI, and MCP
- Experience building modern front-end applications with React
- Practical understanding of how to evaluate, trace, and debug non-deterministic systems
- Solid grasp of software design, testing, and code quality best practices
- Comfort with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows
- 2-5+ years of professional software engineering experience, or a strong public portfolio of open-source software
- Self-motivated and able to work independently within specified timelines
- Quick at picking up new technologies and frameworks
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and a team player
- Must be based in Argentina and available to work primarily on Eastern Time
Great to Have
- Experience with LiteLLM or similar model gateway and proxy layers
- Experience with Langfuse or comparable LLM observability and evaluation tooling
- Experience with agent orchestration frameworks such as Microsoft Agents Framework or LangGraph
- Retrieval-augmented generation, vector stores, and context engineering at scale
- Working knowledge of AWS and general cloud services, including Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, or Vertex AI
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
- Experience with containerization and orchestration such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong opinions about best practices in software development, but open to collaboration
Why Join Us?
- Work with a smart, tight-knit team on meaningful engineering projects
- Build agentic systems for real clients, not demos
- Influence technical decisions and shape how we build
- Opportunities for growth and learning in both consulting and product spaces
Benefits
- Remote-first workplace
- Generous PTO
- Home office stipend
- Periodic team get-togethers
- Modern tools to get your job done (MacBook Pro)
- Collegial workplace focused on individual growth
