We’re recruiting a Software Engineer with DICOM experience for our client, an innovative technology business based in Oxford .

This is a great opportunity for someone with around 1–3 years’ software engineering experience who has worked with DICOM and wants to build on that specialist knowledge while developing a broader engineering skillset.

What We’re Looking For

DICOM or similar experience is the key requirement for this position.

Alongside this, our client’s wishlist includes:

• Around 1–3 years’ commercial software engineering experience .
• Strong programming skills in Python or a comparable language.
• Full-stack development experience.
• A good understanding of software engineering principles and practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A relevant technical degree or equivalent practical experience.

Experience with FHIR, HL7, AWS, Linux, backend databases, CI/CD, TDD or BDD would be a bonus rather than a reason not to apply.

Exposure to regulated, highly controlled or quality-focused software environments would also be useful.

You certainly don’t need every skill listed. If you have solid software engineering fundamentals and genuine hands-on DICOM experience, we’d particularly like to hear from you.
