Software Engineer (Drivers & Tools)

Alignment Engine Inc. (“Alignment”) operates the high-performance computing and NeuralSync electronics-manufacturing operations at the Chillicothe Advanced Industrial Campus — a multi-employer industrial site in Chillicothe, Ohio, where advanced manufacturing and digital infrastructure operate side by side as the campus re-industrializes. We hire across the disciplines required to run our operations, on a rolling basis as capacity ramps.

The role. Build the software that makes the DPU usable: drivers, diagnostics, and fleet tooling.

What you'll do:

• Develop drivers and runtime components
• Build diagnostics and manufacturing test software
• Create fleet management and telemetry tools
• Work with validation on automated coverage
• Maintain documentation and SDK components

What you'll bring:

• 4+ years systems software development
• Linux kernel/driver experience preferred
• Strong C/C++ and Python
• BS in CS/CE

Pay range: $120,000 – $155,000 per year
