Embedded Software Engineer (C/C++ & Fire Control Systems)

Location: Sterling Heights, MI | 100% Onsite

Pay: $40–$90/ Per Hour (Based on experience)

Schedule: 9/80 – Every Other Friday Off

Openings: Multiple | Associate through Senior Levels

Position Overview:

We are seeking Embedded Software Engineers at multiple experience levels to support the development of advanced ground combat vehicle system

In this role, you will develop, integrate, and test embedded software supporting Fire Control and other vehicle systems. You'll work with a team of engineers throughout the software development life cycle, from initial design and coding through testing, debugging, and integration.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, modify, and test embedded software using C/C++ and other programming languages
• Support Fire Control and ground combat vehicle software applications
• Perform software requirements analysis, design, coding, and debugging
• Integrate software with hardware and other vehicle systems
• Develop and execute software tests and troubleshoot technical issues
• Collaborate with engineering teams on software development and integration

Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
• Ability to obtain Secret Clearance required
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and relevant software engineering experience (additional experience required for higher-level positions)
• Fire Control experience is required
• Experience with embedded software development and C/C++ programming.
• Experience or familiarity with embedded operating systems such as Linux, VxWorks, or RTOS.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Sterling Heights, Michigan

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in defense, military vehicle, or weapons systems software development
• Experience with Git, Bitbucket, or similar development tools
• Familiarity with CAN, TCP/IP, UDP/IP, or other communication protocols
• Experience with hardware/software integration and testing
• Familiarity with Agile software development
