Software Engineer, Full Stack / Backend | Up to 40K, IT Solutions

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to develop applications and services using Agile methodologies

• Design technical solutions based on business requirements

• Lead junior team members in system enhancement development and resolution of production incidents

• Build and maintain customer-facing backend services

• Proactively identify and fix defects using appropriate tools and techniques before they escalate

• Evaluate potential solutions and assess them for both technical and business suitability

  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline

• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience (candidates with less experience will be considered for the Developer position)

• Solid hands-on experience in Java Spring Boot (must-have)

• Experience in React.js preferred

• Experience in commercial client projects preferred

• Strong ability to perform technical analysis, troubleshoot independently and propose effective resolutions

• Experience in Agile development

• Hands-on experience in medium-scale enhancements across application platforms, including web applications and batch jobs

• Experience in leading junior developers preferred

• Good command of English and native Cantonese speaker
