The Job

A leading organization is seeking an experienced Backend Software Engineer to join its Data & AI platform team. This role focuses on building scalable cloud-native applications, ensuring platform reliability, and contributing to the development of modern data-driven solutions. The successful candidate will work in an Agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and maintain high-quality cloud services.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and cloud-native solutions.
• Build and enhance APIs and data services using modern Python technologies.
• Ensure code quality, security, performance, and maintainability across platform components.
• Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues, and improve system reliability.
• Implement automated testing, observability, and DevOps best practices.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and stakeholder teams to deliver business-aligned solutions.
• Maintain architectural consistency and technical standards across repositories and products.

Your Profile

• 6-8 years of software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Python 3.10+, Flask, GraphQL, and backend application development.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy, and database design.
• Strong AWS experience, including Lambda, SQS, and EventBridge.
• Hands-on knowledge of Docker, Linux, Git, GitLab, GitOps, and CI/CD.
• Experience with automated testing, code quality tools, and observability practices.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred

• Experience with Clean Architecture principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
• Candidates with 30 days or less notice period
