Software Engineer (Go, k8s, AWS/GCP)

We're partnering with an exciting early-stage startup building next-generation networking and security infrastructure for AI agents. The company is developing a cloud-native platform focused on secure communication, distributed systems, and scalable infrastructure.

We're looking for talented Backend Software Engineers to join a growing engineering team and help design, build, and scale the company's core platform. This is a highly hands-on engineering opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, working with modern cloud technologies, and taking ownership of meaningful projects in a startup environment. Startup experience and startup mindset is a must.

What You'll Do:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
• Build cloud-native applications and distributed systems using modern programming languages.
• Develop and deploy services in Kubernetes environments running on AWS.
• Contribute to the architecture and development of core infrastructure components.
• Work on backend systems supporting networking, security, and communication between services.
• Troubleshoot performance, reliability, and scalability challenges across distributed environments.
• Collaborate with a small engineering team to build new features and take products from concept to production.

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a strong backend development focus.
• Golang experience preferred, but open to engineers with strong object-oriented programming backgrounds in Java, Python, C++, or similar languages.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience, including deploying, managing, or developing containerized applications.
• Strong AWS experience, with an understanding of cloud infrastructure and services.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs, microservices, or distributed backend applications.
• Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, data structures, and system design.
• Experience building and maintaining production software.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with networking infrastructure, proxies, API gateways, or load balancers.
• Familiarity with Layer 4–7 networking concepts.
• Experience with cloud security, authentication, authorization, or identity management.
• Exposure to Kubernetes networking, service meshes, or infrastructure automation.
• Experience with AI agents, LLM infrastructure, or emerging AI technologies.
• Previous experience working at a startup or on a small engineering team.
