Software Engineer II, Fullstack (Ads Platform)

For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer II, Fullstack (Ads Platform) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.

This role is focused on building and enhancing fullstack software that supports a large-scale advertising platform within a fast-moving financial services environment.

You will collaborate closely with product management, design, and analytics to deliver customer-facing capabilities and internal tooling that improve platform performance and operational reliability.

The position also offers the opportunity to contribute to system stability, metrics-driven decision-making, and team growth through code review and the interview process.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $146,000 – $206,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Break down larger projects into individual tasks and deliver them in phases
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics throughout the product development lifecycle
• Create and monitor metrics to support team operations and availability
• Engage in growth and development activities, including participation in the interview process
• Support on-call efforts and ensure the stability of team artifacts

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer
• Experience shipping web apps using declarative UI frameworks like React
• Proficient in designing, developing, and launching APIs at scale using Python or Kotlin
• Ability to translate simple problems into solutions that involve multiple software components
• Comfortable navigating large code bases and providing feedback through code reviews
• Demonstrated ownership of personal growth and proactive feedback-seeking
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration
