The Position We are looking for a motivated and collaborative Software Engineer to join the Tools and Automation Team working on the Virtual Rack platform - an internal development tool aligned with hardware systems and customer-facing workflows.

This role is primarily backend-focused and involves building scalable platform services, automation frameworks, and system integrations rather than simple CRUD applications. You will work closely with infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and hardware-interfacing tooling in a hands-on engineering environment.

Responsibilities What You’ll Do

• Design, build and maintain backend services using GoLang or Python
• Develop automation workflows and system-level tooling
• Enhance and optimize existing software frameworks for performance and reliability
• Design and implement REST APIs and service integrations
• Develop React/Angular components for internal tools where required
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing workflows
• Containerize applications using Docker and deploy on Kubernetes
• Troubleshoot complex production and system-level issues
• Maintain unit tests and improve code coverage
• Document technical designs and requirements in Jira and Confluence
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum development cycles

Qualifications What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience in GoLang or Python
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Production experience with Docker and containerized deployments
• Working knowledge of JavaScript (tooling/integration use cases)
• Experience with React or Angular is preferred.
• Experience with SQL and data modeling
• Strong troubleshooting and system-level debugging skills
• Comfortable working close to infrastructure, tooling and hardware-aligned systems
• Ability to independently own backend components end-to-end
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Kubernetes and AWS experience
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
