Position Overview

We are seeking a hands-on SDET II with strong experience in API testing, test automation, and modern software development practices. This role will focus on developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks, validating APIs and web applications, and leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve testing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated UI and API tests using Selenium, REST Assured, Java, or comparable automation technologies.
• Perform REST/SOAP API testing using Postman, SoapUI, Bruno, or similar tools.
• Build, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to identify issues, troubleshoot defects, and improve application quality.
• Leverage AI-assisted coding, agentic workflows, and Generative AI tools to accelerate test development, code reviews, and automation.
• Participate in product discussions, identify business challenges, and contribute to prototyping and solution development.
• Support functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing within an Agile environment.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on software testing and test automation experience.
• Strong experience with API testing and automation, including Postman, SoapUI, Bruno, or similar tools.
• Experience with Selenium and REST Assured; candidates with strong Cypress or Playwright experience will also be considered.
• Programming experience with Java or another object-oriented language.
• Experience developing, maintaining, or enhancing automated testing frameworks.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, integration testing, and software testing methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work directly with developers, product leaders, and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce Lightning or enterprise CRM applications.
• AWS or other cloud platform exposure, particularly EC2 and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding, vibe coding, agentic AI workflows, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar tools.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Harness, or similar tools.
• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch or contributing to product prototypes.

Ideal Candidate: A hands-on SDET who is strong in API and UI automation, comfortable coding, and interested in leveraging AI to improve testing and development. Candidates should be collaborative, technically curious, and capable of working closely with a product team to solve business problems.
