• The role involves building a scalable Ingress Gateway load balancing and proxy platform. The team provides interfaces for L4/L7 load balancing, TLS termination, end-to-end encryption, and traffic policies like blue/green deployments and access control
• The role requires driving the design and implementation of the next-generation Ingress Gateway control and data planes, transforming the software stack to adopt cloud-native primitives, and contributing to open-source projects like Envoy and Istio
• The team seeks experienced distributed systems software engineers passionate about new challenges and capable of owning significant parts of the vision
• Developing a strong understanding of network technologies, such as TCP/IP, DNS, TLS termination, HTTP proxies is a must. Openness to working in an agile environment, delivering within milestones and dependency constraints, while focusing on quality coding, test coverage, high availability, and security
