Software Engineer Manager - Cloud Platform Products (Agentic Workloads) (Remote)

For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer Manager - Cloud Platform Products (Agentic Workloads) (Remote) to join the team of a leader in the Retail & Consumer Goods space.

This leader will guide a cloud platform engineering organization focused on building secure, reliable capabilities that enable next-generation AI and agentic workloads. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with team development, cross-functional collaboration, and delivery accountability across design, build, and release cycles. The ideal candidate will help strengthen observability, reliability, and platform discipline while supporting engineering teams in delivering scalable cloud products.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $140,000 – $240,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of cloud platform products supporting agentic workloads
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create secure and reliable platform capabilities
• Define and implement observability and reliability practices in partnership with engineering teams
• Support and guide engineering teams through design, build, and release processes
• Foster a culture of mentorship and talent development within the engineering team

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience leading or managing engineers in a technology-focused role
• Expertise in an object-oriented programming language, preferably Go
• Proficient with Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes in a production environment
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and GitOps practices
• Experience in developing platforms or products enabling AI workloads and agentic solutions
