Tesla

What to Expect
Tesla is building humanoid robots at scale to take on repetitive, boring work. The Optimus mobile app is how a person controls the robot and checks its status, alongside other means. The foundations, the interaction model, and much of the product itself are being invented now.
As a mobile application developer, you will develop the foundations and user interface between a human and a robot. You will help decide how a person directs, understands, and trusts a humanoid while that relationship is still being defined.
You will build features that enhance the customer experience end to end, shipping to a growing fleet of Optimus robots on a regular basis. Collaborating with our design team, firmware engineers, robot UI and back-end developers, you will have extreme ownership - designing architecture, writing robust code, maintaining and improving existing functionality, and shipping brand new features. Our team strives to deliver the best possible mobile experience for robots. We want to work with people who are excited by this goal and have the talent to deliver on it.
