Software Engineer (.NET Core)

. Key Responsibilities

Product Application Development

• Design and develop new product features and application components using C# and .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
• Convert product and business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and modular technical solutions.
• Develop reusable application components, services, and libraries for product use.
• Participate in technical design and architecture discussions, contributing to sound solution decisions.
• Contribute to the development of new product capabilities from design through deployment.

ASP.NET Core & REST API Development

• Develop backend applications using ASP.NET Core following modern development standards and best practices.
• Design and develop RESTful Web APIs that are scalable, maintainable, secure, and well-documented.
• Support troubleshooting and issue resolution during product releases.
• Verify application functionality after deployment and resolve post-release issues within defined timelines.

Technical Documentation

• Prepare and maintain API documentation (Swagger/OpenAPI or equivalent).
• Document technical designs, integrations, service dependencies, and application architecture.
• Update technical documentation whenever significant product changes are implemented.
• Maintain integration documentation for third-party services and external platforms.

Collaboration, Delivery & Continuous Improvement

• Work closely with Product Managers, Technical Leads, QA Engineers, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, code reviews, and product meetings.
• Provide accurate technical estimates for assigned development activities.
• Deliver assigned product features within agreed sprint and project timelines.
• Stay updated with developments in .NET Core / ASP.NET Core and modern backend technologies.
• Recommend technical improvements to enhance product performance, scalability, maintainability, or security.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development standards and engineering processes.

Production Support

• Monitor and troubleshoot production issues related to product applications.
• Perform root-cause analysis for application failures and recurring incidents.
• Implement corrective and preventive solutions to reduce future occurrences.
• Support critical product incidents and provide timely resolution.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the Technical Lead or Engineering Manager.

Educational Qualifications & Experience

• BCA, MCA, B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in .NET Core / ASP.NET Core backend development.

• Proven experience in RESTful API development and third-party API integration.

• Experience in Oracle or MS SQL Server database development and query optimization.

• Exposure to microservices architecture and modular backend design (preferred).

• Experience with Docker, containerization, or CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
