Software Engineer – Open Source Contributor - M1

We are looking for experienced Software Engineers and Open Source Contributors to support a project involving software engineering, code evaluation, and AI training environments. The work focuses on creating realistic and challenging coding tasks involving bug fixing, feature implementation, codebase refactoring, and performance optimization.

What You'll Do

• Create challenging software engineering tasks based on real-world codebases.
• Debug and resolve complex software issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Implement robust features and improve existing functionality.
• Refactor and optimize legacy code for maintainability and performance.
• Develop reproducible environments and reference solutions for assigned tasks.
• Document technical reasoning, implementation approaches, and code decisions.
• Review and validate code submissions for accuracy and quality.

What We're Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience in Python, Java, Rust, Go, C++, TypeScript, or similar languages.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
• Experience with debugging, feature development, code review, and performance optimization.
• Ability to work with unfamiliar or large codebases.
• Strong analytical, logical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Clear technical communication and documentation abilities.
• Open-source contributions and a verifiable GitHub profile are preferred.
• If your GitHub profile does not sufficiently demonstrate your expertise, a technical assessment may be required.
