Software Engineer – PHP / Full-Stack

We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our Engineering team and contribute to the development of applications and services within our Telecom BSS & OSS ecosystems.

The role involves designing, developing and maintaining applications within our Telecom BSS & OSS ecosystems , working across the full stack and integrating with a variety of internal and external systems.

What You'll Work On

You’ll be part of a team developing applications and services that are integrated into a larger Telecom BSS & OSS ecosystem.Your work will involve interacting with multiple systems, databases, APIs, and services.

The role offers exposure to a broad technology landscape and the opportunity to work on both business-critical applications and technical integration challenges , while collaborating closely with experienced engineers across different areas of the technology organization

Responsabilities

• Backend & Frontend Development – Work across both backend and frontend components using modern web technologies.
• Solution Design – Contribute to technical design decisions, architecture discussions and the continuous improvement of our development practices.
• Team Collaboration – Work independently or as part of a development team, depending on the project size and scope.
• Systems Integration – Collaborate with Engineers, DevOps and DBAs to integrate applications and services into the existing ecosystem.
• Technical Problem Solving – Investigate and resolve technical issues and contribute to improving the performance, reliability and maintainability of our applications.

Qualifications

• Strong professional experience with PHP 8. Solid knowledge of Laminas or comparable PHP frameworks (Zend, Symfony, Laravel)
• Strong experience with SQL and Transact-SQL (T-SQL), preferably with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
• Good knowledge of JavaScript/jQuery, CSS/Bootstrap
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Design Patterns.
• Strong understanding of Caching mechanisms.
• Experience working with APIs and integration technologies such as REST, SOAP and JSON-RPC.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ and Kafka.
• Good understanding of software development best practices and writing maintainable, quality code.
• Strong analytical and problem – solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices architectures and distributes systems ;
• Knowlwdge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines .
• Familiarity with Linux (Debian/CentOS) and Docker .
• Experience with Telecom BSS/OSS, ERP systems , or similar complex enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC) .
• Good written and spoken English .
