Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Software Developer (Platform) to join its Engineering team.The role focuses on strengthening the reliability, scalability, and performance of their core platform, which supports more than 1,000 global enterprises and processes over 1 trillion documents each month.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring system performance, investigating and resolving production issues, addressing defects, and implementing improvements to enhance platform stability, resilience, and availability. This is a hands-on opportunity to work with large-scale systems and contribute directly to the performance and reliability of a critical enterprise platform.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor platform health, performance, availability, and key operational metrics using observability and monitoring tools, proactively identifying potential issues before they impact services.
• Investigate and resolve complex production incidents through structured troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Diagnose and fix software defects and technical issues to maintain platform quality and stability.
• Drive improvements to system performance, scalability, and reliability to support a robust and highly available platform.
• Partner with Engineering, DevOps, and Product teams to troubleshoot issues and deliver ongoing platform improvements.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python; experience with Java is a plus.
• Strong coding fundamentals and a genuine interest in software development and engineering.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a strong sense of ownership from issue identification through resolution and preventive action.
• Good understanding of system performance, scalability, availability, and reliability principles.
• Ability and willingness to quickly learn and adopt new technologies.
• Strong self-management, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Hands-on experience with system monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
• Experience working with enterprise-level production systems and large-scale platforms.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
