Software Engineer, Product Facing

For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer, Product Facing to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This role will focus on building customer-facing software capabilities that support reliable, high-impact product experiences. The engineer will partner closely with other developers to design and deliver scalable backend solutions, with a strong emphasis on API quality and operational clarity in a remote environment. The work will also involve solving complex problems tied to sensitive financial data and contributing to documentation and practices that help distributed teams move efficiently.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $120,000 – $145,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new features, APIs, and products
• Collaborate with engineers to ship code effectively
• Architect and design scalable and reliable systems
• Maintain comprehensive documentation critical for remote operations
• Address complex challenges in high-stakes financial data handling

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in product-facing backend development
• Proven ability to deliver high-impact features and products
• Experience building, maintaining, and optimizing APIs
• Interest and practical experience with AI tools such as Cursor and GitHub Copilot
• Drive and proactivity in a collaborative environment
