Software Engineer (Python, Java) 30-100 USD/hr , Remote

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer with expertise in Python and Java to join our remote team. This role involves designing and developing robust software solutions, contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software engineering principles and a passion for creating innovative technology solutions that meet business needs.

Duties

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Python and Java, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Engage in software design activities, translating requirements into technical specifications and architecture.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define project scope and deliverables.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge within the team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during development or after deployment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tools to enhance productivity.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and incorporate relevant innovations into projects.

Skills

• Proficiency in Python and Java programming languages with demonstrated experience in software development.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, architecture patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code with attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical challenges.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating within remote teams.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies is a plus.
