Software Engineer (Python / JavaScript)

Our platform already runs on production at our partner company. Now we’re turning it into a SaaS product that other companies can use.

We’re looking for a Software Engineer to help build it from the ground up. This role starts as a contract position and converts to permanent employment (正社員) within 12 months .

What you’ll do

• Build new features across the full stack (Python/Flask, JavaScript, PostgreSQL)
• Develop REST and SOAP integrations with carriers and partner systems
• Write unit tests, find bugs and fix them
• Deploy to Heroku and AWS and monitor performance
• Work with customers to turn their workflows into product features
• Write clear technical documentation

What we’re looking for

• 2 years e xperience with building web applications with Python (Flask) and JavaScript/HTML
• Experience with REST APIs (SOAP is a plus)
• Experience with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL
• Experience deploying to a cloud platform (Heroku, AWS, GCP, or similar)
• A CS degree or equivalent hands-on experience
• Business-level English

• Django, React, or Vue

• Concurrency / multithreading
• NoSQL databases

Compensation & benefits

• ¥310,000–400,000/month (approx. ¥3.7M–4.8M/year), based on experience
• Overtime paid in full
• Bonus after conversion to permanent employment
• Commuting allowance (up to ¥30,000/month)

• Visa sponsorship for candidates residing in Japan

Working conditions

• Monday–Friday, 9:00–18:00
• Weekends, national holidays, New Year break, and annual paid leave

Location

Ebina, Kanagawa. 8 minutes on foot from Ebina Station (Odakyu / Sotetsu lines), 10 minutes from JR Ebina Station (Sagami Line).
