Software Engineer (Python/GCP/API)

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a healthcare technology team focused on building scalable backend services, automation solutions, data-driven applications, and AI-enabled platforms. In this role, you will develop APIs, support cloud-based applications, improve operational workflows, and build solutions that help transform complex healthcare data into actionable insights and user-friendly tools. This is an opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives that improve efficiency, scalability, and the overall user experience across healthcare operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python.
• Build scalable cloud-native solutions within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Develop and optimize SQL-based data processing and analytics workflows.
• Integrate AI and machine learning capabilities into business applications and workflows.
• Create and support automation solutions that reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Ensure reliability, performance, security, and maintainability of applications.
• Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and best practice initiatives.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in SQL & Python development.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud environments.
• Exposure to AI, machine learning, LLMs, or intelligent automation solutions.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle, testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus but not required.
