Software Engineer – React Native

TCS is seeking a Software Engineer – React Native to design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native technologies. The role focuses on delivering scalable, reliable, and user-friendly mobile solutions while ensuring adherence to coding standards, performance optimization, and modern development best practices.

The Software Engineer – React Native will collaborate with product owners, architects, developers, and QA teams to build new features, integrate backend services, optimize application performance, and support the continuous enhancement of enterprise mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native .
• Build and maintain React Native components, hooks, state management, and navigation.
• Manage application dependencies and ensure library compatibility.
• Optimize application performance through rendering improvements, memoization , and efficient handling of lists and images.
• Integrate mobile applications with backend services through APIs.
• Implement robust error handling, timeout management, and retry mechanisms where applicable.
• Support application logging, monitoring, and telemetry initiatives.
• Participate in code reviews and follow repository standards and development guidelines.
• Work across development, QA, staging, and production environments.
• Support local configuration, test builds, and application deployment activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in React Native development.
• Strong hands-on experience with React Native components, hooks, state management, and navigation .
• Experience consuming and integrating REST and/or GraphQL APIs .
• Good understanding of mobile application performance optimization and development best practices.
• Strong communication skills in English .
• Availability for full-time employment .
