Software Engineer (REST APIs, SI, data models, relational databases)

About the role

We are hiring a hands-on Software Engineer who enjoys solving real business problems, learning new technologies and seeing their work make a direct impact. You will build internal applications, develop APIs, system integrations and automation, and explore AI solutions to improve productivity and decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Build internal applications using Go, React & TypeScript
• Develop APIs, system integrations and automation
• Explore AI solutions to improve productivity and decision-making
• Work directly with business and production teams to understand real workflows
• Own projects from design → development → deployment → improvement
• Troubleshoot and continuously improve existing systems

About you

• 3–5 years' software engineering experience (stronger candidates with less experience are welcome)
• Learning agility — able to learn unfamiliar technologies, business domains and systems quickly, and become productive with limited hand-holding
• Strong backend development fundamentals; Go preferred. Candidates with solid experience in another backend language and the ability to learn Go quickly will be considered as well.
• Hands-on React & TypeScript experience
• Good knowledge of REST APIs, databases and system integration
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Fast learner with a strong sense of ownership
• Comfortable communicating with non-technical users
• Singapore-based and willing to travel to China when required
• Able to communicate and understand the language used in China.
