We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer (Ruby on Rails) to join our team and help drive the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions.

🚨 Important: This position is intended for Senior/Principal-level professionals . We will only consider candidates with 8+ years of backend development experience , advanced expertise in Ruby on Rails , and proven experience in technical design, software architecture, REST APIs, technical leadership, and the development of scalable web applications .

What You'll Do

• Develop and enhance web applications using Ruby on Rails
• Lead technical design and architecture decisions
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams
• Mentor developers and serve as a technical reference across the organization
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, UX, Architecture, and Engineering teams
• Drive end-to-end ownership of solutions from design through deployment and support
• Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices
• Design and build REST APIs and scalable backend services
• Champion quality through testing, TDD, and continuous integration

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails
• Experience building scalable web applications
• Strong knowledge of:
• JavaScript
• HTML
• CSS
• REST APIs
• Git
• CI/CD
• Testing frameworks
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
