Software Engineer Rust – Full Stack (High-Tech Systemen)

For a fast-growing high-tech company in the Brainport region, we’re looking for a Software Engineer with a passion for Rust. Our client designs and builds its own advanced computing systems: complete server racks with GPU compute, high-speed networking and storage. These systems run where performance and reliability really matter, such as AI-driven inspection and industrial applications.

What you’ll do

You’ll build the software used to manage and operate these systems, from the user interface down to the services that talk directly to the hardware.

• Develop fast, reliable backend services in Rust
• Build the front end people use to operate the systems, with a sharp eye for usability
• Design APIs and interfaces between the UI, services and hardware
• Contribute to a shared software platform used across multiple products
• Own your features end to end, from requirements and design to testing and validation
• Solve complex problems together with software, electronics and systems engineers

What you bring

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Embedded Systems or similar
• 5+ years of software development experience,
• Strong programming skills in Rust, C and Python
• Experience developing on Linux
• Knowledge of software architecture and RESTful API design
• Functional programming experience is a plus
