What they need

Software Engineer – Rust

Looking to kick-start your engineering career somewhere a little different?

We're working with a high-growth, mission-driven deeptech company building cutting-edge software for complex real-world challenges. They're looking for ambitious junior engineers to join a team of exceptional talent from Palantir, Microsoft and Meta .

Rust is a core part of the engineering stack, making this a brilliant opportunity to develop your skills in a modern systems programming language while working on technology that's already being deployed in the real world.

No Rust experience required

  • strong programming fundamentals and the ability to learn quickly are what matter.

This isn't your typical graduate scheme. You'll be writing code from day one, tackling complex engineering problems and travelling across the UK and internationally to deploy software directly with clients.

Around 50% of your time will be spent on-site, working in different environments, solving problems as they arise and seeing first-hand how your code performs in the real world.

You'll need to be technically strong, comfortable communicating with clients and keen to take ownership early in your career.

What We're Looking For

  • A strong technical degree from a leading university, or experience from your first or second software engineering role.
  • Programming experience in C++, Python, Java, Go or TypeScript.
  • An interest in systems programming and learning Rust.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to pick up new technologies quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills and a willingness to travel internationally.

Why Join?

  • Learn Rust properly: Develop your skills in a modern language used for performance-critical, reliable software.
  • Travel the world: Spend around half your time deploying technology internationally.
  • Learn from the best: Work alongside engineers from Palantir, Microsoft and Meta.
  • Solve real engineering problems: Work on complex technology with tangible real-world impact.
  • Get paid well: A highly competitive salary for an early-career engineer, with responsibility and learning opportunities well beyond a typical graduate programme.

If you're a technically ambitious junior engineer who wants to become an outstanding software engineer, learn Rust and do something different from the conventional corporate route, this is worth a conversation.
