We are seeking a UX-focused Software Engineer to help build and improve complex internal applications used by engineers, architects, technical program managers, and product teams. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong front-end engineering skills with a deep understanding of user experience, usability, and product thinking.

You will work on data-rich workflows involving requirements management, dependency tracking, ownership, reporting, and collaboration across large-scale hardware and software development programs. Success in this role requires balancing technical excellence with thoughtful user-centered design decisions

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with significant front-end development responsibilities.
• Strong experience building modern web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and contemporary front-end frameworks.
• Experience designing and developing enterprise software, internal tools, administrative platforms, or workflow applications.
• Deep understanding of state management, responsive design, accessibility, and front-end performance optimization.
• Experience working with complex data structures, dashboards, tables, filters, permissions, hierarchies, or graph-like relationships.
• Ability to independently scope problems, propose solutions, and drive execution with limited supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in distributed and asynchronous work environments.
• Experience incorporating user feedback, usage data, testing results, or analytics into product decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on data-intensive enterprise platforms or engineering productivity tools.
• Experience collaborating closely with UX/Product Design teams.
• Familiarity with design systems, component libraries, and scalable UI architecture.
• Experience conducting usability reviews or partnering directly with technical users to improve workflows.
• Proven track record of shipping products through multiple iterations.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and enhance user-facing features for complex web applications.
• Improve workflows involving document creation, editing, dependency management, reporting, and data visualization.
• Create intuitive experiences for highly technical users working with large volumes of interconnected data.
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, accessibility, and usability.
• Translate user feedback, support issues, and operational pain points into practical product improvements.
• Collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, engineers, and program stakeholders.
• Write clear technical documentation, design proposals, and implementation plans to support distributed teams.
• Deliver solutions incrementally while balancing user value, technical complexity, and delivery timelines.
• Contribute to design systems, reusable UI components, and front-end best practices.
