Software Engineer - Video

For our client, we are seeking a Software Engineer - Video to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $138,700 – $203,900 annually

Responsibilities

• Design and implement real-time, high throughput, low latency services
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand customer needs and provide solutions
• Document processes and technical designs for team collaboration
• Address challenges in scaling distributed platforms with global points of presence
• Innovate solutions for customer problems in the Voice channel

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of experience with large scale, distributed applications on JVM technologies
• Experience in building RESTful services and event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, SQS)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, OpenStack, Azure)
• Experience with on-call support and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Datadog, Grafana)
• Excellent written communication skills for technical documentation
• Strong Java fundamentals and ability to evaluate AI-generated code
