VIMO is looking for a motivated and technically curious Software Engineering & AI Intern to help design, develop, and implement internal tools that improve operational efficiency and streamline business processes.

This is a hands-on opportunity for a Computer Science recent graduate with a background or strong interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Software Development .

You will work directly with team leadership to identify operational challenges, explore opportunities for automation, and build practical technology solutions that make a measurable impact on day-to-day business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
• Design, develop, and implement internal applications and tools to streamline workflows.
• Explore and integrate AI/ML capabilities into existing or new business processes.
• Build prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions using modern development technologies.
• Work with APIs, databases, and automation tools to connect systems and improve data accessibility.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies, including Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), for potential business applications.
• Test, troubleshoot, document, and continuously improve developed solutions.
• Participate in project planning, brainstorming, and technical discussions.

Qualifications

Required:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
• Programming experience with Python, JavaScript, or a similar language.
• Foundational understanding of software development concepts and problem-solving techniques.
• Interest in AI/ML, automation, and building practical technology solutions.
• Ability to work independently, learn new technologies quickly, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

Preferred:

• Academic or project experience with AI/ML, Generative AI, or LLM-based applications.
• Familiarity with AI development tools, APIs, or frameworks such as OpenAI APIs, LangChain, or similar technologies.
• Experience developing web applications, internal dashboards, or workflow automation tools.
• Knowledge of SQL, databases, REST APIs, or cloud platforms.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, or collaborative software development.
• Personal projects, hackathons, or internships demonstrating hands-on technical skills.
