Software Engineering Intern

Job Summary

A six month paid internship for students and recent graduates who want to find out what production software is actually like. You will be given real work on a real product, with a mentor and code review from day one.

We do not staff interns on invented side projects. What you build will ship, which is precisely why the review is thorough.

Responsibilities

• Small, well-scoped features and bug fixes on a live product
• Automated tests for the code you write
• Documentation for anything you learned the hard way
• A short end of internship presentation on what you built

Requirements

• Final year student or recent graduate in computer science, IT or a related field
• Working knowledge of at least one language such as Java, Python or JavaScript
• Basic understanding of databases and version control
• Genuine curiosity and the willingness to ask a question before losing two days
• A project, coursework repository or portfolio we can look at

Strong performers are regularly offered full time roles at the end of the internship.
