Software Engineering Manager (AI Experience)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Act as the technical voice of engineering, partnering closely with product, business, and delivery teams
• Lead multiple software teams, driving high-quality delivery across complex systems
• Shape and enforce technical standards, architecture, and best practices across teams
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Analysts, and Architects to turn ideas into scalable solutions
• Own planning and estimation to ensure realistic, high-confidence delivery
• Build, mentor, and grow engineering teams — creating a high-performance culture
• Drive continuous improvement through modern tools, AI adoption, and engineering innovation

What We’re Looking For

• 15+ years in software engineering with a strong background in modern application development
• Proven experience leading large, high-performing engineering teams (5+ years in leadership roles)
• Strong hands-on experience with backend or full-stack technologies (Java / JavaScript ecosystems)
• Experience delivering AI-enabled or data-driven systems
• Deep understanding of system design, APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures
• Experience with CI/CD, cloud platforms, and scalable system design
• Strong knowledge of databases (SQL & NoSQL) and performance optimization
• Confident communicator who can influence stakeholders and challenge the status quo
