Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manage r to lead application development teams responsible for building and delivering scalable, high-quality software solutions. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with team management and will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and external partners to deliver technology solutions aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers.
• Oversee the design, development, testing, and delivery of software applications.
• Partner with business, product, and technology teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance on application architecture, system design, and development best practices.
• Establish and maintain engineering standards, development processes, and code quality expectations.
• Manage project timelines, resources, priorities, and delivery commitments.
• Oversee third-party vendors and external development partners.
• Drive adoption of modern development practices, tools, and technologies.
• Ensure applications meet security, scalability, reliability, and performance requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and technology modernization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading software engineering or application development teams.
• Proven experience delivering complex software applications in an enterprise environment.
• Strong people leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Experience working with modern programming languages and frameworks such as Java, .NET, Python, or similar technologies.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and engineering best practices.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms, AI/ML technologies, or modern data solutions.
• Experience with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with enterprise architecture and large-scale application design.
• Experience implementing AI-enabled applications or automation solutions.
• Experience managing vendors or external development teams.
