Software Engineering Manager – Enterprise FinTech SaaS

About the Role

Quantium Technology builds data-driven SaaS platforms for Private Equity, Venture Capital, and Asset Management firms globally. We're looking for a hands-on Engineering Lead/Manager to own technical direction and engineering execution for our enterprise platform.

This is not a coordination role. You'll set technical standards, influence architecture, coach senior engineers and team leads, and translate business goals into scalable, maintainable systems — while communicating clearly with international stakeholders in English.

What You'll Own

• Lead and mentor a core development team while providing technical direction to 2–3 additional team leads
• Define and enforce engineering standards for code quality, performance, security, and scalability
• Translate business/product requirements into technical scope, sprint plans, and execution strategy
• Own delivery outcomes — balancing speed, quality, and long-term maintainability
• Review architecture, critical code paths, and technical trade-offs
• Lead development of high-availability backend services and APIs (design, versioning, documentation)
• Partner with Client Solutions to turn client feedback into sound product improvements
• Present technical plans, risks, and decisions in English to leadership and foreign stakeholders

What You'll Need

• 7+ years software engineering experience, with proven leadership in enterprise or FinTech products
• Experience leading senior engineers and team leads — not just junior developers
• Strong backend experience (C#, Java, or equivalent enterprise-grade languages)
• Solid front-end understanding (Angular, React, or modern JS frameworks)
• Experience with scalable APIs, distributed systems, and data modeling (MySQL, MongoDB, or similar)
• Familiarity with CI/CD and modern engineering practices
• Business-fluent English — able to explain complex technical topics to non-engineers and foreign stakeholders
• System-thinking mindset with ability to make and defend technical decisions under ambiguity

Nice to Have

• Experience in financial, investment, or regulated systems
• Prior experience scaling teams/platforms under real production load
