Software Engineering Manager - Team Lead

We are seeking a Head of Technology to own our technology strategy, lead the engineering team, and drive the transformation, integration, and continuous improvement of business-critical applications.

This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on technical oversight, ensuring our platforms are secure, reliable, scalable, and aligned with business needs.

You will:

• Define and execute the technology roadmap, enterprise architecture, and application modernization strategy.
• Lead the development, configuration, customization, and integration of business applications and third-party services.
• Improve business processes through workflow automation, system interoperability, and reliable data exchange.
• Oversee API architecture, transactional workflows, data migration, reconciliation, and database performance.
• Establish engineering standards for code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, documentation, and release management.
• Own infrastructure, cybersecurity, access controls, observability, incident management, and disaster recovery.
• Manage technology teams, vendors, budgets, and delivery priorities while supporting successful implementation and user adoption.

You should have:

• Proven technology leadership experience delivering application modernization and complex systems integration programs.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Python, SQL, PostgreSQL, backend development, and modular application architectures.
• Experience extending configurable business platforms through custom modules, business rules, approval workflows, and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, asynchronous processing, authentication, error handling, and transactional integrity.
• Practical experience with cloud infrastructure, Linux, Docker, CI/CD, monitoring, and secure software development.
• The ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate effectively with executive stakeholders.
• A relevant technical degree or equivalent practical experience.

Pay: Up to AED20,000.00 per month
