About the Role

Steer high-impact enterprise engineering. Hitachi Digital Services is hiring a Software Engineering Tech Lead (8–10+ years) to guide engineering squads, govern system architecture, and drive technical excellence across cloud-native and distributed platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Governance & Leadership: Mentor software engineers, architects, and QA specialists while setting engineering and code-quality standards.
• Architecture & Scalability: Architect, review, and deliver large-scale distributed systems, microservices, and cloud solutions.
• Roadmap & Product Alignment: Partner closely with Product Managers and business stakeholders to define technical roadmaps, project scopes, and delivery milestones.
• Risk Mitigation & Reviews: Conduct architectural and deep-dive code reviews, proactively identifying bottlenecks, technical debt, and system vulnerabilities.
• Innovation Culture: Evaluate and introduce modern frameworks, tools, and methodologies to optimize development velocity and product performance.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of professional software development experience, with 3–5+ years in a Technical Lead or Software Architect capacity.
• Strong background in modern backend and cloud stacks (Java, Python, C++, AWS / Azure / GCP, Microservices, Big Data).
• Proven experience leading and mentoring distributed or offshore technical squads in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Solid track record in system architecture, design patterns, and enterprise-grade software delivery.
• Exceptional technical leadership, problem-solving abilities, and fluent professional English communication.
