Software Engineer/System Architect(BMS/BAS/HVAC)

Key Responsibilities

HVAC & Data Platform Development

• Design and develop IoT data collection and processing systems using Python.

• Integrate various IoT devices, sensors, gateways, and building automation systems.

• Build data pipelines for real-time monitoring, analytics, and optimization.

• Understand HVAC systems, including: Chillers; AHU / PAU / FCU systems; Pumps and fans; BMS / BAS systems

• Analyse HVAC operational data and energy consumption patterns.

• Support development of energy optimization algorithms and control strategies.

Software Development

• Develop backend services and APIs using Python frameworks such as: FastAPI; Flask; Django

• Design and optimize databases for time-series and IoT data: PostgreSQL / TimescaleDB; InfluxDB

• Develop data processing, visualization, and analytics services.

Desired Candidate should:

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS/BAS).
• Experience with HVAC control systems or energy optimization projects.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong Python programming skills and experience developing production systems.
• Cloud experience: AWS; Azure

Must Have Technical Skills

• Python

• REST API development

• Database fundamentals

• Data analysis capability

• Understanding of HVAC and energy systems

• Frontend & Visualization (Plus)

  • Develop or support web-based dashboards for: Energy monitoring; Fault detection; KPI analysis
  • Experience with frontend technologies is a plus: React; TypeScript; JavaScript
