We are looking for an exceptional Software Implementation & Training Specialist who enjoys working with people, understands technology, and has the confidence to lead customers through learning and adopting new software.

Position Overview:
This is not a traditional classroom training position, or a job where you’ll spend every day behind a desk. You’ll work directly with business owners, managers, and employees, helping them transition to Droplet’s software and ensuring they’re comfortable using it.

Much of your time will be spent traveling to customer locations, leading hands-on training sessions, answering questions, troubleshooting challenges, and helping businesses successfully adopt our technology.

Success in this role requires strong interpersonal skills, technical aptitude, and the confidence to lead customers through change. Our customers come from a wide range of backgrounds and levels of technical experience. Some pick things up immediately; others need additional guidance and patience. Your job is to adapt your approach, establish trust, and ensure everyone has what they need to succeed.

Qualifications:

• Confident and Personable: You’re comfortable walking into an unfamiliar business, introducing yourself, building rapport, and leading a room.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfort and proficiency with technology, particularly in software training and support.
• Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, concise, and engaging manner.
• Assertive but Patient: Comfortable leading training sessions with confidence and authority while maintaining a calm, patient demeanor.
• Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail in both training delivery and documentation.
• Travel-Ready: You’re enthusiastic about a position that involves regular travel, 2-5 days per week, with overnight stays as needed.
• Industry Experience (Preferred): Previous experience in the fuel oil, propane, or energy industries is a plus but not required.
• Experience in Training (Preferred): Prior experience in software training or a related customer-facing role is preferred.
