What they need
- We’re looking for a Software Integration Engineer who can champion the delivery of features across our vehicle software stack
- This role works across software and hardware to ensure the full system integrates seamlessly for customer delivery — from workstation and SIL through HIL and target hardware, including integrating customer SWCs against our generated AUTOSAR RTE
- Deliver full-system features spanning software and hardware that meet customer requirements
- Work with customers and our business team to define target use-cases and requirement, then own the integration project to completion
- Work cross-functionally with product, software, mechanical, and electrical teams to develop and deploy systems
- Develop a deep understanding of the full system architecture and how software and hardware components interact
- Integrate customer-delivered SWC ARXML against the generated AUTOSAR RTE contract and runtime, taking a component from an either black-box/white-box app to running ECU code
- Work with the validation team to verify and integrate components, troubleshooting issues to ensure reliability across SIL, HIL, and target- Familiarity with Linux development and Bash scripting
- Proficiency in embedded C/C++ programming
- 2+ years of experience in software integration or development
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline
- An understanding of electronic systems and how to set up and debug them

- Experience developing software for large projects (CI/CD, release process, etc.)
- Experience with POSIX-based adaptive AUTOSAR: ara::com, service-oriented communication, execution management
- Experience reading or authoring ARXML, and integrating a black-box application against a generated Rte_* contract (headers, types, mocks)
- Experience working automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, FlexRay, SENT, PSI5
- Comfortable programming in Python
- Working knowledge of the AUTOSAR Classic Platform layered architecture: SWCs, the Virtual Functional Bus, ports/interfaces, runnables, and RTE events
