We Are Hiring Software Product QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Software Product QA Automation Engineer with 3–5 years of professional experience, a strong background in software product testing, and hands-on expertise in test automation or AI-powered testing.

The ideal candidate will take ownership of product quality and build reliable automation across critical user journeys, APIs, and regression testing.

Key Responsibilities

* Define and execute test strategies for software products across the development lifecycle.

* Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for web applications, APIs, and end-to-end workflows.

* Build reusable automation frameworks and expand coverage of critical product functionality.

* Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support reliable releases.

* Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers to verify fixes.

* Investigate test failures, reduce flaky tests, and maintain dependable test suites.

* Apply AI-assisted testing tools to improve test creation, execution, and maintenance.

* Assess release readiness through functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing.

Required Qualifications

* Experience: 3–5 years in software quality assurance, including hands-on testing of software products.

* Test Automation: Strong practical experience with at least one framework such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Robot Framework.

* Programming: Proficiency in at least one language used for automation, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, or C#.

* API Testing: Experience validating REST APIs and developing automated API tests.

* Product Quality: Ability to translate requirements and user journeys into comprehensive test scenarios, including edge cases.

* AI-Powered Testing: Practical experience with AI testing platforms or AI coding assistants used to develop and maintain automated tests.

* Databases: Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and backend testing.

* CI/CD and Version Control: Experience running automated tests through CI/CD pipelines and using Git/GitHub for branch management, pull requests, and version control.

Preferred Experience

* Building an automation framework from the ground up.

* Performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter or k6.

* Testing microservices and complex integrations.

* Evaluating AI-generated tests for accuracy, coverage, and maintainability.

Position Details

Location: Clifton block 5, Karachi

Work Arrangement: [On-site / Hybrid / Remote]

Working Hours: 1:00 PM–10:00 PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
