Software Project Coordinator

About the role

As a fast-growing IT solution company, we are looking for a Software Project Coordinator to join our team. You will play a key role in coordinating our software projects from requirements gathering through testing, deployment, and post-project follow-up. You will work closely with clients, developers, QA, and internal teams to ensure that project tasks are properly communicated, tracked, and delivered on time. This is a hands-on coordination role suitable for someone who is organized, responsible, detail-oriented, and interested in building a career in software project management and implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities for software development and implementation projects

• Communicate with clients to understand their requirements, clarify issues, and follow up on outstanding matters

• Work closely with developers to communicate client requirements and monitor development progress

• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, SRS documents, project schedules, and user guides

• Track project tasks, deadlines, deliverables, and outstanding issues

• Perform basic testing and verify that completed features meet the agreed requirements

• Record, track, and follow up on bugs and issues with the development team until resolution

• Coordinate project deployment and follow up on post-deployment issues

Requirments

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related discipline
• At least 1 year of experience in software projects, IT project coordination, application support, software testing, or a similar role
• Fresh graduates with relevant software development projects, internship experience, or strong technical knowledge may also be considered
• Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software development processes
• Familiarity with web applications, databases, APIs, or software development concepts will be an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both clients and technical teams
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and willing to take ownership of assigned tasks
• Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
