Software QA Analyst (Banking Enterprise)

Core Responsibilities

• Requirement Analysis: Review business requirements, user stories, and system specifications to establish clear acceptance criteria and test scenarios.
• Test Planning & Design: Create, maintain, and execute structured test plans, test suites, test cases, and test data.
• Test Execution: Perform manual functional, regression, smoke, integration, system, and end-to-end (E2E) testing across web and mobile platforms.
• SIT & UAT Support: Conduct System Integration Testing (SIT) and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders.
• Defect Management: Identify, document, track, and retest defects using Jira or Azure DevOps, conducting root-cause investigations alongside developers.
• Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release validation activities.
• Data & API Validation: Execute basic SQL database queries and validate backend service endpoints (using tools like Postman).

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Software Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or Test Analysis.
• Testing Skills: Strong background in manual testing, test scenario design, regression cycles, SIT, UAT, and mobile/web application testing.
• Tools & Systems: Proficiency in Jira or Azure DevOps for defect management; familiarity with API testing tools (Postman) and database validation (SQL).
• Methodologies: Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum processes.
• Work Setup: Willingness to work 100% Full Onsite in BGC, Taguig.

Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php50,000.00 per month
