Job Description

Prisma is seeking a detail-oriented Software QA Analyst to help ensure the quality, reliability, and functionality of software applications. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a methodical approach to testing, and the ability to identify defects and communicate findings clearly to development teams.

In this role, you will review software requirements, create test scenarios, execute manual and automated tests, and document results. Responsibilities

• Review business requirements and technical specifications to identify testing needs.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.
• Re-test resolved issues and verify that fixes meet requirements.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to investigate application problems.
• Validate application workflows, user interfaces, and data processing.
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing when required.
• Maintain accurate testing records and quality assurance documentation.
• Participate in release reviews and provide feedback on software readiness.
• Recommend improvements to testing procedures and product quality.
• Follow established quality standards and development workflows.

Requirements

• Experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or a related technical role.
• Understanding of software development and testing lifecycles.
• Ability to create clear test cases and document defects accurately.
• Familiarity with issue-tracking tools and test management processes.
• Basic knowledge of web applications, databases, and APIs.
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with developers and manage multiple testing tasks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Basic SQL skills for database validation.
• Experience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
• Knowledge of performance testing and basic application security testing.
