About the Role

Redsag Fintech Solutions is looking for a Software QA & Code Review Intern to help us improve the quality, reliability, and security of our software products.

You will work closely with our development team to test new features, perform regression testing, identify bugs, verify fixes, and review AI-assisted code for potential issues.

This is a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in Software Testing, QA, Web Applications, APIs, and AI-assisted development.

Responsibilities

• Test new features and product changes before release.
• Perform regular regression testing across existing features.
• Create and maintain test cases and testing checklists.
• Identify, reproduce, and document bugs clearly.
• Retest issues after developers fix them.
• Test web applications, APIs, forms, validations, permissions, and edge cases.
• Check whether new changes break existing functionality.
• Review AI-generated and AI-assisted code for logical errors, missing validations, security concerns, and potential regressions.
• Work with developers to understand and reproduce technical issues.
• Maintain QA reports showing tested, failed, fixed, and retested items.
• Continuously look for edge cases that developers may have missed.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of software development and web applications.
• Good logical and analytical thinking.
• Ability to understand requirements and create test scenarios.
• Basic programming knowledge in any language.
• Willingness to learn software testing and QA practices.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Good to Have

• Basic knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or similar languages.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• API testing experience.
• Knowledge of Postman or similar tools.
• Git/GitHub knowledge.
• Understanding of React, Next.js, Node.js, or modern web applications.
• Interest in AI-assisted software development and code review.
