Software QA Engineer

About the Role
Beyond Eternity Space Limited is a dynamic Hong Kong software development company specializing in games, web applications, and mobile solutions. We are looking for a QA Engineer (2–3 years experience) to join our centralized QA team, driving end-to-end quality assurance across all our digital products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, update, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for Web, Mobile (iOS/Android), and Game applications.

• Maintain and expand automated test scripts using Python within our established test automation frameworks.

• Perform functional, regression, end-to-end, and RESTful API testing (using Postman or similar tools).

• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects in Jira to resolution, collaborating closely with developers and product managers.

• Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing using both physical mobile devices and simulators/emulators.

• Provide clear, concise test execution reports and quality updates to cross-functional team members.

Requirements

• Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline

• 2–3 years of professional hands-on experience in software quality assurance.

• Proven experience writing and maintaining automated test scripts (preferably in Python using Selenium, Appium, or Playwright).

• Practical understanding of REST API architecture, microservices, and JSON/XML data structures.

• Hands-on proficiency with defect tracking and test management platforms like Jira or ClickUp.

• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes and QA best practices.

• Analytical mindset, strong troubleshooting skills, and clear cross-team communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Game QA or testing interactive consumer applications.

• Exposure to performance/load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust).

• Familiarity with Git, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, or TeamCity.

• Basic understanding of Web/Mobile cybersecurity vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP top 10).
