Software QA Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer (Fresher) to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing software applications, identifying bugs, and ensuring product quality before release. This role is perfect for fresh graduates eager to build a career in software testing and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand software requirements and functional specifications
• Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans
• Perform manual testing of web and/or mobile applications
• Identify, document, and track bugs using bug-tracking tools
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues
• Conduct regression testing after fixes and enhancements
• Ensure software meets quality standards and user expectations
• Participate in requirement reviews and sprint meetings
• Maintain test documentation and reports

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Knowledge of Manual Testing concepts
• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodology
• Basic knowledge of test case design techniques
• Understanding of functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Good to Have (Optional)

• Basic knowledge of Automation Testing (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
• Basic SQL for database testing
• Familiarity with API testing (Postman, Swagger)
• Exposure to JIRA, Asana, or similar tools
• Basic programming knowledge (Java / Python / JavaScript)

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
