Software QA Tester

• Comply with the ITG Quality Framework established by Test Admin group
• Review and analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and system design documents
• Prepare and execute SIT test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts
• Perform manual testing of integrated applications and systems
• Validate data flow, system interfaces, APIs, and end-to-end processes
• Identify, log, track, and retest defects using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM)
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to resolve issues
• Perform regression testing to ensure changes do not impact existing functionality
• Validate system behavior across different environments (QA, SIT, UAT)
• Prepare test reports, status updates, and defect summaries
• Ensure compliance with test strategies, standards, and QA processes

Qualifications:

• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software testing processes.
• At least 1 year of experience in testing and delivering Digital Banking projects.
• Proven experience in Digital Banking, including the creation, execution, and documentation of test cases for web-based and mobile banking applications.
• Advanced knowledge of iOS testing and the Apple ecosystem, including iPhone models, iOS versions, Apple App Store, Apple Pay, and Apple Wallet.
• Proficiency in using Jira for requirements and defect management and Xray for test management, or similar platforms.
• Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman.
• Strong communication skills, particularly in reporting test status, defect summaries, and testing metrics.
• Experience in banking, finance, or enterprise systems.
• Exposure to test automation tools is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of performance and security testing.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
