Software QA Tester (Digital Banking)

• Follow established ITG quality standards and testing guidelines to ensure reliable, high-quality software.
• Review business requirements and system documents to understand what needs to be tested.
• Create and execute test cases, scenarios, and scripts for System Integration Testing (SIT).
• Perform manual testing to ensure applications and systems work correctly together.
• Check data flow, APIs, system integrations, and end-to-end business processes to ensure everything functions as expected.
• Identify, document, track, and retest software defects using tools such as JIRA or HP ALM.
• Work closely with developers, Business Analysts, and fellow QA team members to investigate and resolve issues.
• Conduct regression testing to make sure system updates do not affect existing features.
• Test applications across different environments, including QA, SIT, and UAT.
• Prepare test reports and provide regular updates on testing progress, results, and identified issues.
• Ensure all testing activities follow established quality standards and QA processes.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in software testing, preferably supporting Digital Banking projects.
• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software testing processes.
• Hands-on experience creating and executing test cases for web and mobile banking applications.
• Strong knowledge of iOS testing, including iPhone models, iOS versions, and the Apple ecosystem.
• Familiarity with Apple Pay and Apple Wallet and their functionality within digital banking applications.
• Experience using JIRA for requirements and defect tracking, and Xray or similar tools for test management.
• Practical experience in API testing using Postman.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear testing updates, status reports, and metrics.
• Background in banking, financial services, or enterprise systems is an advantage.
• Exposure to test automation tools is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of performance and security testing.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
