What Will You Do?

As a Software Quality Analyst, you will help ensure that applications meet business requirements, functional specifications, and quality standards before they reach end users.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Execute comprehensive software testing: Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and sanity testing to identify defects and ensure application stability.
• Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing: Verify that applications function consistently across different browsers, devices, operating systems, and supported environments.
• Support test automation initiatives: Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Conduct API testing: Validate APIs, integrations, endpoints, responses, and data exchanges using Postman, REST Assured, Swagger, and OpenAPI.
• Identify and manage defects: Document bugs, prepare clear defect reports, track issues, coordinate with developers, and perform retesting after fixes.
• Collaborate with development teams: Work closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and improve product quality.
• Participate in Agile development: Contribute to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other SDLC activities.
• Support continuous testing: Work with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to improve test execution, release readiness, and overall software quality.
• Perform data validation: Use SQL and relevant programming or scripting languages to verify data accuracy, investigate discrepancies, and troubleshoot application issues.
• Champion quality throughout development: Help identify potential risks early, strengthen testing processes, and ensure applications meet established quality expectations.

What Are We Looking For?

We want candidates who combine strong analytical skills with practical software testing experience.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance, preferably within a product development environment.
• Experience working in or supporting the US Healthcare industry.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Hands-on experience testing web, mobile, or SaaS applications.
• Knowledge of manual testing, test planning, test case development, test execution, defect reporting, and quality assurance processes.
• Experience with automation testing tools and API testing frameworks.
• Ability to investigate issues, analyze test results, communicate findings, and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to work on shifting schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, when required by business operations.
