Software Quality Assurance Analyst

KBM is seeking a talented and professional Software Quality Assurance Analyst with a Bachelor's degree and 14 or more years of experience to join our team in Huntsville, AL. The selected candidate will support the advancement of defense system development. Analysis and verification of reliability, security, and operational readiness of software applications and tactical systems used by the U.S. Army is needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Defect Tracking & Management. Identify, document, and track software defects and vulnerabilities.
• Compliance & Security Testing. Ensure software meets DoW, DISA STIG (Defense Information Systems Agency Security Technical Implementation Guide), and Configuration Control Board (CCB) standards.
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and DevSecOps Integration.
• Documentation of known defects, test results, traceability matrices, and quality compliance reports.
• Effective communication of thoughts, analysis, and results, collaborating verbally as well as through presentations.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma (Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred).
• 17 or more years of experience (with HS Diploma, 14 years experience with Bachelor's degree) in software quality assurance analysis, Program Protection Plans, Testing, and/or DevOps experience.
• Experience must be with U.S. Army defense systems.
• Knowledge of Army/DoW tactical software frameworks.
• Demonstrated compliance with DoW baseline cybersecurity standards.
• Experience throughout the defense system acquisition lifecycle.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively on project requirements.
• Must have security clearance or ability to obtain one. This generally requires United States Citizenship.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
